JOB DESCRIPTION:

Alamo Drafthouse Montecillo Cinema is seeking a reliable and diligent Maintenance Technician to ensure our cinema is clean, sanitary, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks to maintain the appearance and hygiene of the cinema, ensuring a pleasant experience for our guests and staff.

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Clean and sanitize all areas of the cinema including theaters, restrooms, lobbies, kitchens, and common areas.

· Perform tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and trash removal.

· Ensure all surfaces are disinfected regularly, especially high-touch areas.

· Regularly inspect and restock restroom supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.

· Ensure restrooms are clean, sanitized, and free of debris at all times.

· Clean theater seating areas and aisles, removing trash and debris after each screening.

· Vacuum and spot-clean carpets and upholstery as needed.

· Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.

· Ensure proper disposal of waste in accordance with local regulations and company policies.

· Perform deep cleaning tasks as scheduled, including carpet cleaning, window washing, and floor waxing.

· Assist with setup and breakdown of special events, ensuring cleanliness before, during, and after events.

· Follow all safety guidelines and procedures for the use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

· Report any maintenance or safety issues to the General Manager promptly.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services is preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Willingness to work unusual work hours (lots of evenings and weekends)
